Last Wednesday, Benjamin Moore announced their 2021 color of the year: Aegean Teal 2136-40, a slightly muted teal that “nourishes the spirit” and represents celebrating simple pleasures in the home.
The rest of the colors included in Benjamin Moore’s 2021 Color Trends Palette are warm and comforting, They include Gray Cashmere (2138-60), Atrium White (OC-145), Muslin (OC-12), Foggy Morning (2106-70), Amazon Soil (2115-30), Silhouette (AF-655), Kingsport Gray (HC-86), Beacon Hill Damask (HC-2), Chestertown Buff (HC-9). Potters Clay (1221), and Rosy Peach (2089-20).
While they all have somewhat a faded quality to them, these color selections are by no means dull; rather, they are nostalgically refreshing. They also match well with each other and seem flexible when it comes to matching the latest design trends.
Behr and Sherwin-Williams have not yet announced their 2021 colors of the year. They have released their 2021 color trends, though, and it seems that they, too, are celebrating the simple life with their selections. Stay tuned as we wait for more color of the year announcements!
